Searching for a narrative constructed only by the randomness of the encounter, photographer Ruben Brulat has traveled from Europe to Asia by land only, through Iraq, Iran, on-to Afghanistan, Tibet until Indonesia, Japan and Mongolia to complete his latest works titled ‘Paths’. During this year of extensive travelling he invited strangers to romp naked across the exotic landscapes in which they found themselves. Stopping passers-by and asking for their participation Ruben amassed a series of images and stories of individuals and couples embracing the landscape with their whole bodies. Performing sometimes in welcoming sand, sometimes in the harsh snow, the series of images capture a concurrence between man and nature.
